SLBA took the lead of having common standards between all member banks by having similar public holidays this year, The board have agreed to a unanimous decision to have 7 days public holidays where the banks are closed.

Currently the banks agreed to have holidays on the following days:

1. 1st May, Labour day (1 day)
2. Eid ul Fitr (2 days)
3. 18th May Independence (1 day)
4. 26th June Independence (1 day)
5. Eid ul Adha (2 days)
